There are more than 1.5 million non-profit organizations in the United States. At the Blouin Creative Leadership Summit, Blouin News spoke to experts about the state of non-profits and what makes them successful. Sam Worthington is the CEO of InterAction — the largest alliance of U.S.-based non-profits. Worthington says non-profits that want to be successful should consider aligning with for-profit companies to achieve their goals. MTV President Stephen Friedman says he too realizes the importance. His television network partners with non-profits because he says his viewers are increasingly becoming more socially conscious.
