VIDEO: Jean Camp on cyber security

Cyber security and protecting individuals and corporations from vastly injurious cyber breaches is of growing concern to governments and enterprises around the world. Jean Camp, Director of the Security Informatics Program at Indiana University Bloomington, sheds light on how we need to get general users to think differently about cyber crime at the Blouin Creative Leadership Summit 2014.

She likened the problem to public health campaigns, and pointed out that — in the U.S. at least — there have been successful campaigns aiming to curb bad habits such as smoking. She argues that there should be similar efforts in getting the general user to think about consistently changing passwords across devices and in online-based applications.
